Who am I?

Mamacita…little mama: an English/Greek gal living in sunny Barcelona, Spain.

Writer, blogger, teacher, journalist, cake baker, baby maker (I can say that now I’ve produced THREE of the things) and strident feminist.

Parental advocate in all forms…support the parents to support the babes, and you are supporting life itself.

Strongly believe that there are SO many right ways to do things: to be a parent, woman, feminist, human, to enjoy your body and appearance, to live creatively and joyously.

Just one rule: respect. Respect each other, the planet, your things, yourself. It helps.

Through writing, chanting and lots of internal dialogue (more of the latter at the mo’  due to 3 small kids and a full time office job) I try to work on staying cool, keeping sane and questioning most of the stuff we are not supposed to question in life. Can’t say I’ve reached 100% joy so far, but perhaps that’s not even the point.

I’m also open to the fact that I get things wrong. I do. And, I change my opinion (develop, I should say), not infrequently. However, I’m also working on being OK with that and keeping on sharing my views. Not an easy balance in my world.

Thanks for stopping by, why not become a ‘follower’ (heehee) and enjoy my posts fresh from the WordPress.

Hey, I’d like to invite you to join in on the postcard exchange: http://atlantamomofthree.wordpress.com/2013/01/04/postcard-exchange-2013/ It’s just an exchange of one postcard with our family (you’d get an Atlanta, Georgia one in the mail). You are the first person I’ve met on WP who lives in Spain, and I would love a postcard from your beautiful country!! 🙂 Just let me know. Also, the group exchange will be starting soon too!

    1. Wow, thanks so much for this! It’s truly inspiring and lovely to receive acknowledgment and appreciation from people so far away from myself geographically and so different in lifestyle and age: just shows how the Internet brings people together and I think that is absolutely awesome. So thank you! As soon as I get a mo free from this crazy life of kids and work I will look forward to a nice blogging session answering all your questions and nominating my own little crew of bloggers. Have a lovely week 🙂
